From the start of the school year to now, our class have learnt about softwares and hardwares of a computer. During our lessons we've also did different activities to learn more about computers. In the start of our lesson my teacher showed us one diagram which would give us an clearer idea on how we used our computer.
Even-though this diagram or idea is quite simple but it's actually helping me quite a lot. This is because at the pass when people asks me how a computer works, I would be very confused. However, after reading this diagram, it gave me a great idea on how we use our computer.
The way the four layer model work is moving from inside to out; at first we must have a hardware to install a software, then it needs an network for data to pass to other people and at last there must be a person to use it.
Taking a PC apart
The first activity we did was to take a PC apart and identify different parts of the PC. After doing this activity, I've learnt more about a computer and it also increased my knowledge.
Steps for taking a desktop apart.
Step 1. Unplug the desktop from any power source.
Step 2. Remove the cover from the desktop.
Step 3. Examine the parts of the desktop and identify the different parts.
Step 4. Take the different part of the desktop one by one by unscrewing the screws until the case is empty (almost)
Step 5. Screw all the screws in and plug power source to check if everything is working right.

Representation in the Media
In our last ICT lesson we've learned about the representation in the media. I've learned that media is actually just an form of presenting things which happened. Some examples are; news, magazines and TVs. They are representation because, for example news. It is words which are presented in a very neat and tidy way, and the incident which is written is just an incident which already happened.
In this lesson I also learned that the media we watch everyday is what the producers want us to watch. An example of this is animal documentary, even-though we could experience the event. It is just an opinion of the producer not what everyone is thinking.

5 tips for using searching engine.
I posted this because sometimes I have problem searching what I wanted, and these tips are to help you search better!
1. I you want to search on something that has two meaning. Add "-" and write the meaning you don't want, eg: Mullet -Hair.
2. If you are in Google, you could use the advance search and it will help you search better.
3. Ignore any punctuation (!?#,.), because it does not make any difference to the results.
4. Use "*" to fill in the blank.
Hong * is in *.
5. Search within a site use the brackets.
Example: (Iraq new times.com)
Hope you enjoy it.

When Blogging gone wrong.
In this post I will tell you bad things that might happen when you are blogging badly, for example
Mark Jen, he was a google employee and when he was blogging he put some corporate secrets and then he got fired two days after.
In another incident Ellen Simonetti a former flight attendant, was fired for putting photos of herself in her uniform, and telling her flight stories.
After I've read these two news, I've learnt some things I should not do when I'm blogging.
1. Don't put corporate secrets.
2. Photos of your work.
3. Don't play around with blog.
4. Don't swear or put foul language.
